How we handle
your information.

What we collect
We collect only what we need to run a search engagement: name, professional contact details, current firm and title, the materials you choose to share with us (CVs, track records, cover notes), and the interaction history of our work together. We don't track website visitors with third-party advertising cookies. We don't buy contact lists. We don't scrape data from third-party sources.
/ 02
How we use it
Candidate information is used solely to evaluate fit for specific search mandates we are running. Hiring firm information is used to brief and execute the search you have engaged us to run. Both are stored in our internal systems and accessed only by Winsor staff working on your engagement.
/ 03
What we never do
We do not share candidate identities with hiring firms without the candidate's explicit, mandate-specific consent. We do not share hiring firm mandate details with anyone outside our team. We do not sell, license, or otherwise transfer your data to any third party. We do not retain your data once an engagement concludes unless you ask us to.
/ 04
How long we keep it
For active engagements: as long as the engagement runs, plus 90 days post-conclusion to support the integration period. For the wider candidate network: until you ask us to delete it. You can request deletion at any time and we will action within 14 days.
/ 05
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold on you, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, and object to processing. Our processing is governed by the DIFC Data Protection Law. For candidates and clients based in the EU or UK, the equivalent rights under EU and UK GDPR also apply. To exercise any of these, email hello@winsorinternational.com and we will respond within 14 days. Our data controller is Winsor International, registered in the DIFC, Dubai.

Updates
If we materially change how we handle data, we will update this page and notify everyone in our candidate or client database by email. The current version was last updated on the date below.
